Equestrian Life Magazine Campaign for more and safer off-road riding in the East Midlands, Yorkshire and beyond.
Equestrian Life is running a campaign to promote off-road rides in the region. To inform readers/riders where they can ride safely away from traffic and the rat race. To promote the wearing of hi vis gear and other safety-wear such as back protectors.
It may well be a long process, but a start has been made!
The first article appears in the February 2008 issue and it is hoped that the campaign will continue to raise awareness.
Any methods, means and contacts that can help to gain access to safe, pleasant rides are being sought and will be mentioned over the coming months. It is hoped that readers will respond by telling Equestrian Life Magazine about their local rides, asking their local land-owners to create toll-rides or simply give permission to ride on their land. Associate membership of Endurance GB and other ideas are being highlighted.
