Horse Riding
Organised group Long Rides
Equine Ramblers encourages novice Long Horse Riders by organising group Long Rides with overnight accommodation. Usually rides will be two or three days. Groups could be between five to twenty riders depending on accommodation availability. Camping may be an option on occasions – bring your own tent! Daily distances can be around 20 miles (32 kms).
We have had brilliant social evenings at the end of the day’s ride and enjoyed meeting new Long Distance Horse Riders, helping them further their experience in Long Riding by passing on our passion.
The cost covers:-
- safe parking for your vehicle
- accommodation either B&B or self-catering/camping
- grazing at your B&B or close by
- luggage/emergency horse transport (unless the ride is specified as travelling light)
- Maps and route notes
The rider is responsible for their evening meals and beverages.
