Horse Riding

Going The Distance

Equine Ramblers UK is passionate about Long Distance Horse riding. You need to organise long rides well ahead because of the difficulty of finding horse as well as rider accommodation in the desired places for the ride.

Our Distance Award Program challenges riders into riding further afield. The benefit of riding Long Distance with your horse is the trust gained between horse and rider which can be carried through in other disciplines. The aim of the Distance Program Club is to challenge riders into being more adventurous. Your horse will appreciate the change of scenery too!

The cost of membership is £20 per year. Each member will receive a log book, car sticker and certificate of membership by post.

The goals we have set are

  • Easy Rider 50 miles (80kms)
  • Traveller 100 miles (160.9kms)
  • Highwayman 250 miles (402.25kms)
